I take technical lead without you hiring someone. For teams that are missing the role. Not for shops that still have no product.

How many days a week?

Some need one day for decisions, others three for building along. We set it and adjust.

Can an outsider lead a team?

Yes, if the meetings are fixed and ownership is clear. I have done this as a lead for years. Someone inside should hold the role when I leave.

Technical lead for a while, when nobody inside holds the role. Reviews, decisions, mentoring in the running team. No permanent hire, no employee leasing. Fractional means one or two days a week over months. Interim means covering the gap until someone inside takes the role.
